An older terrier asleep, wrapped in a sherpa blanket

It started with one dog.

Wylie was 10 when both of his back legs gave out. The vet found torn cruciate ligaments in both knees, the dog version of a torn ACL. Surgery on both legs would cost about $12,000.

We panicked. What if we paid and he didn't make it through? What if he came out worse? Would we be carrying him outside to go to the bathroom for the rest of his life?

So I started reading. I found a handful of studies on BPC-157 and TB-500, and a lot of owners going through the same thing. Weighed against everything we were afraid of, I decided it was worth trying.

Within a week he was walking better and taking the stairs down on his own. I still carried him up. At two weeks he was back on short walks. At four weeks he climbed the stairs by himself.

That's why I started Wag Ahead. $12,000 is more than most families can spend, and getting your dog back means everything.

One dog's recovery isn't clinical evidence. Talk to your vet before starting anything new.

Cats hide it better.

Cats rarely limp. They stop jumping onto the counter, start sleeping in lower spots, or take the stairs one at a time. We're building a cat line with its own formula, its own oral-first format, and its own dosing guide.
