This policy explains what Wag Ahead (San Diego, CA) collects when you visit our site or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Order details. When you check out, we collect your name, email, phone number, shipping address, and what you bought.
• Payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes straight to Stripe. We never see or store it.
• Email signups. If you join our email list or a waitlist, we collect your email address and which list you joined.
• Your cart. Your cart is saved in your own browser so it's still there when you come back. It isn't sent to us until you check out.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records things like IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

• To process, ship, and support your orders, including refunds.
• To send order confirmations, receipts, and shipping updates.
• To send the emails you signed up for. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run the business: Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, shipping carriers to deliver your order, and our email provider to send email. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets cookies on the checkout page to process your payment and prevent fraud.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we extend them to everyone. Email hello@wagahead.com to make a request. We'll confirm your request using the email address on your order or signup, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Our site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-certified payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
